HODL Tech Pte Ltd. (“Cypherock,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this “Privacy Policy”.
By using or clicking "I agree" to Inheritance services provided by Cypherock in connection with the https://www.cypherock.com/ (the “Site”), our desktop application (the “App”), and the services, features, products, content, or applications offered by Cypherock (together with the Inheritance Product, Site, and the App, the “Services”), you agree that you have carefully read and accepted the privacy and conditions below.

This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit or use the cySync App and others we make available from time to time, and our Sites (collectively, the “Platform”), whether as a Visitor, Nominee/Recipient, or a Registered User, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

Through the Sites or any connection thereto, which provide dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and the Platform

Us offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by Cypherock or any third-party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries)

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time (see Changes to our Privacy Policy Section). Your continued use of the Platform after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check this Privacy Policy periodically for updates. Any term not defined herein shall have the meaning given to it in our Terms of Use, which, together with this Privacy Policy, constitute the “Agreement”.
PERSONAL DATA OF CHILDREN
As noted in the Terms of Service, we do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Data from children under 18 years of age; if you are a child under the age of 18, please do not attempt to register for or otherwise use the Services or send us any Personal Data. If we learn we have collected Personal Data from a child under 18 years of age, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that a child under 18 years of age may have provided Personal Data to us, please contact us at support@cypherock.com.
Please note that certain of the Services may require you to provide information regarding the child or children in relation to whom you may be using the Services, including Personal Information such as first and last name (among other information), in order to properly provide such Services to you. As noted above, we work to protect the security of any such information that you provide us, but please be aware that no method of transmitting data over the internet or storing data is completely secure. If you’d like to request that we delete any such information, please contact us at support@cypherock.com.
INFORMATION THAT WE PROCESS
We collect several types of information from and about Registered Users and Nominee(s), Executor using the Platform, including information:
First and last name – but you may choose to provide a pseudonym instead
Email address for plan-related communications and registration, login authentication purposes
Any content you upload to or create on our Platform (“User Content”)
Unique identifiers such as device ID and email
Encrypted nominee/beneficiary messages, executor message (if applicable)
IP address, Email domain, Non-identifiable request IDs
Session Storage Objects. In Session Storage the information clears when your session ends. We use session storage objects to remember your preferences while engaged with our Platform.
You do not have a legal duty to provide the above information. However, without providing the above information, you will not be able to sign up to, and use the full functionalities of the App, and we will not be able to provide you with support services, respond to your inquiry.
HOW WE PROCESS AND USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any Personal Information:
To present the Platform and its contents to you
To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us
To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it
To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us
To notify you about changes to the Platform or any products or services we offer or provide through it
To allow you to participate in interactive features on the Platform; for any other purpose with your consent
To enforce or apply our this Agreement or and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes; and
To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request; if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cypherock, our Registered Users, Nominee(s), or others.
CHOICES ABOUT HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the Personal Information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:
Promotional Offers from us. If you do not wish to have your email address or contact information used by us to promote our own products or services, you can opt-out by sending us an email stating your request to support@cypherock.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt-out does not apply to information provided to Cypherock as a result of a registration, Apps experience, or other transactions.
ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR INFORMATION
You can review and change your Personal Information or Personal Information you uploaded by logging into the cySync App and visiting Cypherock Cover Dashboard page after successful authentication.
We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement, because it is not technically possible, or cause the information to be incorrect.
If you delete your User Content from the Platform, copies of your User Content may remain viewable in form of Local Storage Objects in your cySync App. Proper access and use of information provided on the Platform, including User Content, is governed by our Terms of Use.
DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION
We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personal Information or Personal Information uploaded by you from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Your information will be encrypted using AES. Your private keys will never leave your Cypherock X1 as fundamentally, Cypherock is a non-custodial solution.
The safety and security of any information you share also depend on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) an authentication method for access to certain parts of our Platform, you are responsible for keeping access to this method confidential. We ask you not to share access to your authentication method with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Platform like message boards or to other users of the Platform.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted to our Platform. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Platform.
We retain Personal Data about you for as long as you have an active cypherock cover plan with us or as otherwise necessary to provide you with our Services. In some cases, we retain Personal Data for longer, if doing so is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes or collect fees owed, or is otherwise permitted or required by applicable law, rule, or regulation. We may further retain information in an anonymous or aggregated form where that information would not identify you personally
CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our Registered Users' Personal Information, we will notify you by email to the primary email address specified in your plan. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, for periodically visiting the Platform, and checking this Privacy Policy for any changes.
